Publish results to the live board and GEO
TallyTrot has two separate publication paths: provisional spectator results on the public live board and verified result delivery to GEO.
Configure the event gates
Open the event and select Publishing settings. Automatic verification starts on; turn it off to verify each ride manually. GEO publication starts on for events imported from GEO. Manually created events have no GEO publishing controls and cannot send results to GEO. Re-importing an event preserves the organiser's saved choices.
- Public live board exposes provisional progress to spectators.
- Allow GEO publication allows verified results to be delivered to GEO.
- Automatically verify results makes complete submitted results official and sends them to GEO when both GEO switches are enabled. This includes complete results already waiting and later corrections. Leave this off to keep the manual verification and publication workflow.
For GEO, the class-level GEO publishing switch must also be enabled. Automatic verification and publication run during the submission or settings request; no scheduler or queue worker is needed. If GEO delivery fails, the marks and verification remain saved. Open the result and select Retry GEO delivery to send the saved publication again.
Publish a verified result to GEO
Open a verified ride.
- Confirm that Step 2 shows Result verified.
- Review the marks and official cumulative score.
- Select I confirm that this official result should be sent to GEO.
- Select Publish result to GEO.
Do not publish a result simply to test the connection. The operation creates a durable publication identity.
Public live results
When the live board is enabled, the event appears on Live shows.
Spectators find an event by name or date, choose a class from its searchable class list, then open that class's results. Event and class lists show ten items per page. Back links and the step navigation restore the previous filters and page number. The results page shows one row per rider and horse; open a row to see individual judge scores. Rider search and progress filters stay in place while scores refresh automatically.
Spectators can open the event and see running marks without private judge comments or source-only data.
Live percentages may change as judges continue scoring. The scoring office remains the authority for verified final results.
Success state
- The live event is visible to guests when intended.
- A GEO publication shows Delivered, a receipt, and an attempt count.
- The class progress row changes to Published only after successful delivery.
